Keje Molenaar was a Dutch professional footballer who played as a defender. He was born on March 22, 1954, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and began his professional career with Ajax Amsterdam in 1972. Molenaar was known for his impressive technical abilities, pace, and his ability to play multiple positions on the pitch.
During his career, he won numerous honors, including six Eredivisie titles, four KNVB Cups, and three European Cups with Ajax Amsterdam. He was also a part of the Dutch national team that reached the final of the 1978 FIFA World Cup, where they lost to Argentina.
After retiring from professional football in 1986, Molenaar went on to work as a television commentator and football analyst. He also served as the director of football at AZ Alkmaar. Molenaar passed away on March 25, 2017, at the age of 63.
